Whats the best fitting header for a G body? What do you run?

The set I have on now came out of a 70s Camaro and seem to be pretty nice. Looking at car shows there seem to be better ones that are nicer fitting.

The Hooker Headers 2451 series either coated or uncoated are the ones you need.... anyone else agree?

Heavily disagree. I am currently using them on my car and I'm very unhappy. But, for that price I guess it was expceted. You can't except a set of nearly "universal" headers like that to fit in every car perfectly. We had to make two rather large dents in the primaries one to clear the control arm ear, and another to clear the passenger frame rail. Also makes it challenging to get the starter in after the headers. Because in the instructions for G-bodies it says take the starter and oil filter off for installation. Last but definately not least, they sit extremely close to the spark plugs and boots. They burned one of my Taylor's pretty good 😢

i always like the sound of a good set of tri-y's from doug thorley, little more money, but awesome sound and they fir almost perfect around everything. its been a while since i had longtubes, beings i am turbo motivated now... 😀

The ones I have now are the cheaper ones we had to notch a little on the passenger side and you have to use a wrench on number 1 and 8 cylinders to replace the plugs. I have tri ys on my pickup and love em. Easy to get around. Maybe I'll check out a set
