i want to cut down the heat on the inside of my car in the summer i removed the ac when i first got the ss and dont really want to put it back in as i have already glassed the heater box shut and removed everything, i just want to cut down the heat on the inside on those really hot days when the wind wont even help..i know about all the types of materials out there but i really want to know what i should do to get the best effect i have already ordered clamp on exhaust sheild wrap for under the car to cut down the heat coming from the exhaust threw the floor now im just trying to decide if i should do my roof and how much that will cut down heat.and if there is anything else i should be doing any help or links to any how to on cuting down heat would be great thanks.

I used Thermo-Tec heat barrier, I covered my complete floor with it that really helped it was about 1/2"- 5/8 " thick and I have a 4-1/2" exhaust pipe running down the center of each side.
The roof might help also but for me I have a power sunroof so it's not really an option.

yea i ordered the thermo-tec exhaust clamp on wrap cause i really cant do anything with my floor cause i have jute padding glued underneath the carpet.

I replaced my carpet and it didn't come with the padding so any low spots I just added more of the Therm-Tec.
People are always suprised at how cool my interior is on a hot summer day, just don't rest your arm on the top of my black door!

I just bought a cup holder, and try to keep a nice cold slush in there when it gets hot lol 8)
