Currently rehabing a 82 Grand Prix, Factory diesel, now a 455 Olds. The pass side valve cover on the taller Olds motor is into the heater/ac box wich is now heavily damaged.Does anyone know a remedy for this problem other than a delete panel ? Anyone know what heater/ac box on the firewall this all fits ?

A 455 with stock valve covers should clear both a/c boxes and non-a/c boxes.
Aging body mounts can cause interference...
As far as fixing it goes, you could just replace the broken portion of your a/c box, or you could use fiberglass to patch it.
I had to make some extra room for a couple swaps I've done, and had good results by bending up some sheet metal after some patterns I made from cardboard and pop-riveting them in place.
There's pics of what I did on my build thread for my Buick wagon...

As Blake eluded to, a 455 olds with stock valve covers will fit a G body unless the body mounts are shot. Do you have some pics?
