Heater/ac control issue

I thought my blend door was sticking but i believe im wrong. It seems my controls are stuck on defrost possibly. It blows through the floor and the defrost spots. I can change it from hot to cold. Ac on ac off but no blend doors move. I have vaccum to the switch but nothings happening. Any ideas?

Floor and defrost is the default position when vacuum is lost.
Do you hear a hissing sound from your dash?
If you're getting vacuum at the switch, than the selector is probably bad.

Wheres the selector located ive had the same problem eversence the three year storage and engine swap,this must be common ive seen others post this problem but everyone always just says its the vacuum lines .

It's what the vacuum lines plug into on the back of the switch.
As you move the lever, it diverts vacuum to what ever position you selected...

If u push the plastic pieces that rotate on the selector with it running u can hear a hiss come from it.

While were on the subject i have a carter/ edelbrock carb where do you guys.have the vacuum hooked up to on the carb?

Manifold vacuum for the heater controls. With a check valve. My set up is stock just throwing that out there

ok well apparently the part i bought was not the one i thought it was, it was the electrical portion of the controls for the heater/ac
i cannot find the part i am looking for my guess is i have to buy the whole controls to get what i want. anyone selling a working heater control set up for an 87 cutlass?

Fixed it. Found heater controls at a local junk yard that usually has nothing gbody related. $25 for the who thing and i yanked the vacuum switch from it and now it works. Blows great. Always blows through the floor though..
