I am trying to change the factory ac set up in the engine compartment to non ac,will a non ac heater box bolt right in? any info appriciated. Also need the non ac heater box if anybody has one. 1980 El camino.

Yes it will bolt right in, but you also need to get all of the duct tubes, the controls, and I think a different glovebox. I might be missing some things, im sure some will be able to tell you for sure.

Thanks for the info,I'll know what parts to grab if I find a car with the parts. Seems like every car I've looked at so far has air,and I'm in Canada!!

The 60 degree Fahrenheit summer days can be a killer in Canada.
