HELP!! I have been converting an AC car to a non-AC car. I have all the parts but need the 2 control cables that go on the control panel. I have tried my GM dealers but they say that those parts are discontinued. Anybody got any ideas where I can get some new cables? Thanks :wtf:

About 95% of the parts for these cars are discontinued, I wouldn't bother with the dealer, if Rockauto doesn't have it then the dealer most likely wouldn't, especially if it's an uncommon part.

$30 for a stinkin cable from a common AC car
Some of the common overpriced crap listed on eBay really gets me.
I can see if it's rare but come on!

Looks like the seller's a real winner too, seems to blame the buyer for selling roached out junk and complains about people not paying... probably because they realized they made a mistake bidding on the junk to begin with.
I wonder if this is the same guy that was selling J-body inner bucket seat belts that are too short as G-body bucket seat belts...

The cables are the same from an AC setup, just scavenge them from an AC setup.
If you take some photos of your broken ones I can help you, I have a bunch of them, just need to know what the fittings look like because the ends are keyed where they connect to the AC box.

I don't have the 2 cables from the control panel. I got the part numbers but don't know where they go from the panel to which vent control.

Need a better description, pictures would help.
Do you need vent controls or climate controls?
There are 3 different styles of vent controls unique to each make a picture would help.

I didn't mean to reccomend the eBay seller only to show the item if it was what you were looking for was available and perhapse a picture to help identify it.
