Hey everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving!

The new motor is in the car and running (I'll be making a separate post about all that was done!) but when I went to turn the heater on (A/C has been removed) nothing happened at all. Looked under the hood to see what's up (electrical stuff is not my bag) and saw this pale green wire that seems to be cut (see pictures). Is this causing the heater to not turn on at all, or is it something else? Any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance!

that's a vac hose that operates the heater controls in conjunction with your missing vac ball.no effect on the motor itself running.

One thing it looks as if you downt have a live vacuum source which you already know. I don't see a red 12 ga power feed to the blower relay. You don't need the light or dark green wires that that went to the engine harness connector but you need the red. Run it to the battery or back to the starter with the red wires coming off the fusible link with its own link along with a 30 amp fuse up near the blower realy.
