Hey all, I just picked up an 81 LeMans two door, Its rust free, bought it from a 55 year old friend, was his Mothers car...he used it as is for a year, lost his licence and I now own it! It has 55thousand kms on it. I paid $300 for it.
It runs and drives, was on the road until a year ago...I'm sure with a little work, can get it back on the road again...most parts are new from when he got it...brakes, tires, muffler etc...just running really rough.
Anyway, would like to do a few things to it, and will need plenty of advice as I havent really done this kind of thing for years. Front is roll on primer, guy was drunk and bord, nothing better to do.

Welcome to the forum and good luck. I'm sure someone here can help you figure out the repairs.

Welcome, looks like a good start. Love the dash set ups the Pontiacs got.
You'll find lots of info here. Got any big plans yet or just a tune for now and see how she drives?

I drove it last fall, beside stalling out on me all the time, it was not bad...Probably a tune up...get it through the saftey inspection just to get it regestered in my name.
I have a rebuilt 305 for it, has a 6 in it right now, also have access to a '78 parts car..was an 8cyl, but gone now...but it does have buckets, center console, the window louvers on the sides etc...plus anything else I might need.

Thats where the help will be needed...never done an engine swap before! The 305 is fuel injected to boot.

After that, just flat black paint, and go play!
