OK so my neibor came up to me and said his truck starts but doesnt run.. its a 1994 2500 chevy truck with a 350 throttle body injection...he just performed a tune up on it and it doesnt want to run.. 3 hours prior to this tune up it was running fine.... he said he just replaced the dist. cap, rotor spark plugs , wires and coil pack.. ok first i noticed the wires were all crossed up... so i redid the wires in the right firing order and dist. rotor and # 1.. checked all the spark plugs for proper gap and for any fuel fouling.... still didnt wanna run.. so now i checked for fuel and spark at all wire.. that is all good..i even did a compression test to make sure things were tight... that passed...it s\eems like it wants to start but it doesnt.. any help guys???

Smell the exhaust pipe for raw gas. If you smell gas, It's not getting proper spark or it's flooded. Every time you crank the motor on a EFI vehicle, it dumps gas when it doesn't start on the first try. Were the plugs wet? If you don't smell gas then there is no fuel getting to the engine. Check the fuel system.

Also, after following the steps above, pul a plug wire off & see of it's getting fire.
