is located under the dash in my '79 El Camino. It is wired in series to the low blower motor circuit from the three speed switch. My Haynes manual wiring diagrams do not have it.
What is it? Do I need it? I've jumped it and the blower acts no differently.
I have cold A/C. Also, all three blower speeds on defrost. When I switch to vent through normal A/C airflow remains on defrost. Max A/C switches OFF the blower. I'm trying to eliminate electrical problems before I attack vacuum - which is another mystery.
