While someone else with more experience will know what that is, not to sound like captain obvious, the hose to the left of it looks like its got a slice in it. Im sure you saw it but if you didnt i want my internet credit for being a helpful forum member lol. Good luck tracing the vacuum leaks. Vacuum leaks make me sad.

It seems that someone else asked a similar question a few months back, and I think that someone suggested it was for cruise control. Does your Regal have cruise control?

One other thought, that hose is right there near the wiper motor. Could it be for the washer pump. Can't tell from the pic if it is actually a vac line or not, was just making an assumption, and remembering that a similar question had been asked before.

When was electric pump offered 86,my 84 is still vaccum powered my 88 had the electric. You don't have a vaccum leak any where?does the cruise control work?the wiper fluid pump?rare possiblity it has a fuel minder gauge
