Looking at doing some suspension changes to our 82 Regal, car has 59 Ford 9inch with the Pinon angle 5-6* (Suspension loaded measurement) Lakewood Traction Action Lift Bars (Welded), Stock rear suspension with Air shocks (6psi right rear, 0psi drivers rear), 90/10 Front shocks... with a MT ET Street 26.5x11 R15 best 60' is a 1.60 with the 4.30's leaving on the Trans-brake, using a Coan 5200rpm stall behind a LQ9 6.0L (520bhp)

Any suggestions on where to go next??? (UMI anti-Roll bar?, 4.56's back in with a taller tire, Summit 3 way drag shocks in the rear??)

Got some video of the car launching, not the greatest but if you watch it in 1080p you can see a little of what the car is doing..

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

It seems like the car hooks briefly than starts to spin.

I would agree with the spin as it seems to slide the rear to the pass side right after launch. The car really seems to have a pretty stiff suspension. The air shocks I would be inclined to replace with some cheap shocks and an air bag in each spring in the rear to get the car to transfer better. It looks like it runs pretty good(ok, REAL good). Nice and straight.

I would put a shoe polish mark on the tire and see if you can get video right next to the car when it launches. Then you can see the stripe and tell if it is spinning the tire. You might even be spinning the tire on the rim so put the shoe polish mark at the valve stem to see if it is doing that.

I have to agree with TexasT the suspension looks to be too stiff. You have a good running car. But it doesn't seem to transfer weight very well. We set my friends 81 Bu up. The car runs 12.40's with a 1.58-.1-60 60'. I've found that G-Bodys don't need any exotic suspension parts to hook. Just the right parts. It's easy we used poly bushings front/rear comp engineering shocks front 90-10's/ back set to 70-30. We used hotchkiss solid lower arms but boxed lower control arms will work just as well and used a factory swaybay (Spohn would be better). We used moroso trick springs in all 4 corners and a set of adjustable upper arms and set p/a to 3*.
Your motor is making alot more power than the one in the BU .Your car will be nasty when you get the 60' times down. You can use all or nothing of the combo I listed

Here's a pic of a 12 second BU pulling the front end. Imagine what your car could do. Good Luck and hope this helps
