Help on 3.8 dizzy

What I got is a 82 3.8 Chevy v6 auto in a 41 rat rod replaced carb made plate got 2 bbl carb on it motor starts runs idles but under load falls on face I'm still running the ccc dizzy with the 4 wires unhooked ? Could that b a problem with it popinjay back thew carb im on a very tight budget thanks

Might be a little late on this but from my understanding if you replace the carb on an 82 chevy that has the computer, unless it is a vacuum advanced distributor (with the vacuum pod on the side pre-82) you will need to replace that as well. Then you should be able to just get rid of the computer all together and problem should be solved after normal timing adjustments and such.
