help with a carburetor

my buddy is selling an edelbrock 1409 carb. with electric choke. one problem i dont want to much cfm for my car. is there any way of finding out what the cfm rating if on the carb. it says on jegs that the 1409 came in 500, 600, 750, and 800 cfm. i need the 600 or maybe 500 would be ok.
