Does anyone recognize this switch? It's located to the left of the carburetor.

Thanks. Is this difficult to replace? I noticed it was charred on one side from God knows what. Any thoughts on what could have cause the relay to melt?

When relays fail, they get hot and melt. carbs and electricity...bad mix in my opinion

Just tape up the connector. You can still drive the car. You won't have any A/C it looks like. The relay is just held on by one 7mm bolt. I'm not sure if you rotated the relay up to disconnect it or if it was always like that. Every one I have seen has the relay connector side pointing down towards the ground. If it was pointing up like in the pics, maybe this let moisture (water) sit in the relay connector and lead to the burn out.
