I found a guy who has NOS molding. All he could offer was that they would fit 1981-87 Cutlass Supreme. I have a 1985 Cutlass Supreme.

After checking with my local Buick dealer I found out the following:

First: P/Ns 22506570-1 will fit Cutlass Supremes with out Y78 (which is the Salon Package). Since I don't have a Salon this shouldn't be a problem. I'm just curious why the two would have different molding part numbers?

Second: P/Ns 9637959-60 will fit Cutlass Supremes WITH BX2 (External Body Side Wide Lower Molding). This makes me more nervous that it might have something to do with a brogham?

The guy is selling all the molding together and won't split it up. I just don't want to end up with rear molding I can't use...

Any thoughts?

There are different mouldings for the wheel wells.
One is for cars with the wide rocker mouldings, and the wheel well trim is formed differently for how it meets the rocker moldings.
The other is for cars without the wide rocker moldings.
