Hi from Tennessee / Florida

Hi, my name is Don, I live in Tennessee, but work in Florida ( hence the subject title ). I have owned 1 G-body a 79 Malibu, a couple of years ago. Today I set a deal to close on Friday for a 79 with a 402. I am really stoked about the deal and will post pics after I get the car this weekend. Body and interior are complete as well as the motor with the exception that the previous owner removed tha exhaust manifolds to install headers but never bought the headers. I am sure Iw ill be posting many questions as I have really only been into trucks in the past. I have a 71 Camaro I am working on but it is going to go away to provide cash to work on the 79. Thanks spunbearing and jman. Funny thing is Jman it was a 4 speed car. The prev. owner removed it and put in a 700R4. I am working with him to see if he has any of the 4 speed stuff left. I will post when I find out.
