Hi I thought I'd do the traditional "newbie post" even though I've been lurking here for quite a while. My name is Tony and I've had lot's of G bodies and Oldsmobiles in particular through the years. My first G body was a 78 Grand LeMans I bought for $75 bucks, stripped it down and stuck a 455 Olds in. It eventually went 11.30's but I wanted an all Olds ride so I put all the parts in a 84 Cutlass Supreme that went 10.6's until I blew it up, got tired of being broke all the time, got married and changed priorities for a while.
Currently I have a 1982 Cutlass wagon I'm repowering with a Buick Turbo V6. It was coming along well until I bought a 69 442 convert that's consumed the last few weeks of my time. You know how it is. So the wagon will see it's day and hopefully be my daily driver when it's done. I also have a really nice 38,000 mile 87 Regal Turbo T that doesn't do anything but gather dust in the garage. So I'll probably sell it to let someone else enjoy it and fund my current obsessions.
