Hissing sound then no blower

86 Grand Prix. Started it up yesterday and heard a hissing sound. Then I heard cracking behind the dash. I still have heat and air but no blower. What am I dealing with here?

The tiger in you're tank found its way to your heating duct! Could be the blower bearing took a nose dive. Pull it out and see if it seized.
