Allegedly good for 570cfm... impressive for any head, much less a 23* SBC. 2.35/1.5 valve sizes shown. 10 years worth of work from the looks of things.

"This current configuration with the 2.35" intake valve and the 45 degree seat gets up to 470 CFM. I got the 570 CFM with a 2.45 valve and a 55 degree seat. I actually got it passed 600 CFM, but the port was stupid big. The 2.35" valve with a 55 degree seat should get to 500 CFM."

Thats where the HP is. Not sure its going to work, but its worth a shot. That is way beyond my junk, but when I worked at the engine shop we did the Nascar Modified series engines and it was cool to see some of the outdated Cup stuff filter its way down. Even my 1000 hp 565 was Summit catalog stuff so it was basic. But the stock car stuff i got to be part of was pretty cool.

I’ve never tried something to that extent but others are saying there’s modeling that could have been done to save all that effort. Which makes sense since the power plant I work at uses modeling all the time to see if the responses they get match the conditions seen. I admit that the modeling isn’t 100% accurate but it points you in a direction to make tweaks from.

At least he is very honest and transparent. That is more than most people would expose themselves to.

He may find that a larger exhaust port and valve will make a significant difference. He seemed to have over confidence in the intake side.

These might be really good with boost.
