Hood Liner?

I want to keep some kind of hood liner on my hood to protect the paint but I don't want to use the bulky stock stuff. Any suggestions?

I am ordering one from this guy, http://hoodliners.blogspot.com/ I love the look and it is not going to fall apart like the original fiberglass liner eventually does. He can also include a decal in the center if you have a pic that he can image.
