I'm pretty split on this decision. I have the blue square inside a chrome square hood ornament and sail panel badges on my regal. I have them removed, and I'm not sure whether to fiberglass the holes and get rid of them or to keep them. Opinions appreciated.

I've always liked how clean a car looks without hood ornaments and emblems and when removed gives you less obsticles for waxing and buffing.

Definately a good point, I hate all the white chalky dried wax that that gets stuck around hood ornaments. And I can't tell you how many buffing pads I've torn on hood ornaments.

Love hood ornaments, especially that of the monte carlo. I am removing all trim and emblems except the hood ornament. The rest are cheap plastic but the ornament is a fine piece of work and looks great on top of the mantle. Also having it stand alone makes it more of a center piece IMO. Kids like to steal them though, I keep a couple extra just incase.......no I didn't steal them...

I already shaved the hood ornament, can't decide whether or not to get rid of sail panel badges, check out my build thread for pics.

Well I got rid of the sail panel badges today... I don't know how to feel about it, but I got kinda bored and slowly talked myself into it. I guess It'll grow on me.

Well, as long as you didn't break them then you can always put them back on after you paint. Just two less things to work around. Just don't lose them! I can only find one of mine... 😳
