how do you adjust the timing on a 307?

It doesn't look like you can twist the distributor cap to adjust the timing. How do you do it? I have an 87 Cutlass with a 307.

You have to loosen the distributor hold-down bolt and turn the whole thing. You'll probably need an angle wrench or a u-joint socket to get it. Loosen it only enough so you can turn it by hand, too loose and it wont stay. Make sure you tighten it back real well or you'll be doing it again!
