Well, when I got my car, the grille was zip tied in place, so that was one of the first things I began working on. I cut the zip ties, and the bracket at the top was rusted through in a couple spots, so I fabbed up a new bracket. Then I got out my best rednecking skills and used multiple bolts and nuts and washers to hold it in place. It worked for a while. Well when I went to take it out for paint, it literally fell out. I'm lucky it didn't fall out while I was driving. But now I figure I should probably know how to put it back in the right way for next time. Pictures of the bracket would be best. Thanks.

I don't have a picture and it has a couple options depending on year. Both are similar. On the under side of the header panel there is a molded lip that has 3 U clip fasteners on it that the top of the grille bolts to, three holes in top grille flange. The bottom of the grille has two special springs that hold the bottom of the grille against the bumper and header side flanges and give the grille the ability to flex a little for protection from some possible causes of damage.
