Car had 2.14 gears and 195/75/14 tires stock. With the 3.73s and either 295/50/15s or 275/60/15s how far off would it be if I were to hook up my speedo? Lol

I'd guess about 1.6 off. It will read KM's instead of mph on an MPH speedo. Actual 62 mph will read 100 on the speedo.

and no you can't use a Canadian speedo. Its 1.6 the wrong way. if you had 3.73 gears with 275/60's and switched to 2.14's with 195/75R14's... Then a Canadian speedo would read the proper MPH.

What if I swapped the speedo drive gears to the 442 parts?(2004r trans )

OK . the one for 3.42s may actually be easier for me to get

When I put the 3:42 gears in my car my speedometer read 72 at 55. Don't know what my factory rearend had in it for gears. I really didn't care. I changed my speedometer gears now and it seems pretty close. There are free speedometer gear calculators out there, but you need to know what drive gear you have or close to what you need. I have a 350 turbo trany though.
