Depends on how badly you want (need?) it...I usually just ask how much CASH will they take RIGHT NOW for it.

Have to be ready to back it up, though.

I have a friend that missed out on a complete '60 Corvette for $8000 because he kept (notice i say kept, not keeps) his car cash in the bank. No place for it to be on a Sunday.....

Needless to say, Mon morning it had already been sold.

Well he wants $500.00

$500 sounds like a decent price for what you're getting, but if you don't want that many parts from it, it might not be worth spending $500 and only using like $100 in parts and tossing the rest.

good price. let me know if you get it for parts, i need a tail light!

Wants 500, but what would he take "right now"?

Cash in hand doesn't talk, it screams.

I usually look at parts cars like this...can I get the purchase price back out of it after I remove what I want?

For instance...I'd like to have the rear out of one, but it's not worth 500 to me. Now, selling the power windows and locks, gage cluster, and maybe some other small stuff might get the price down to 200 or so, that's a lot easier to swallow.

Just depends on how much the stuff you want is worth to YOU. To me, it looks like a mess, but there's probably enough to make it worthwile. The Flintstone floors bring back memories...of why I moved south.

This is classic..."body are all good (minor body repairs) parts are good
just needs a complete floor

Minor repairs....riiiigggght

$500 is a fine price IMO...

i sold ones worse for more. seems these cars are coming in to their own and getting more and more each year.

I'd pay $500, not a bad price. But I'd offer $300  Then I'd sell me the gauge cluster and spoiler for like $100 8)

I paid $500 for my parts car and it was in similar condition, with just more body rot. I bought it mainly for the CZF trans (which I never ended up using LOL). You can make your money back on that car IMO.

I kept most of mine - found it way to much of a PIA selling parts.
