As the title says I have a guy that has aluminum bumper supports front and rear and I was wondering if any of you guys have bought some and what a fair price would be these days. He seems to be a good guy and comes across gbody parts all the time so I want to give him a fair offer so that I can keep dealing with him.

What shape are they in? The price will be based on condition, the front one is worth more than the rear. I have sean a rear one go for $40.00. But the set I plan on buying is $350 for the pair. There is a member that is planing to reproduce them. The alum can corrode, if you can get a set from a low mile car or from a dry part of the country that would be best. This topic has been brought up before so if you do a search you should be able to find more good info.

Just for reference I have been selling them with good Chrome for $100 each in upstate ny and its been a struggle to sell them for that much.

I got a nice front one at the boneyard for $75... which I think is a fair price.
Keep an eye out for corrosion along the bottom and top edges where it bolts to the outer shell, as well as where the bumper shocks attach.

Thats some good information I had no Idea of thanks.

I got them, 😀 the back one had a mice nest in it so it is not in the best shape but any aluminum is better than none.
