However I cannot beleive all the attention this is getting, if this guy has the balls to call out any military personel and mock the job they are doing then strap a gun to him and send him off to fight and be done with it. i've never even heard of this show, nor have i ever even watched fox news, but perhaps fox news should leave "comedy news" to funny people, not this band of dipshits!

I am in afghanistan right now. This is my second tour. My first was Jan 05 to Sep 06. This one started last year in April.

I have worked directly with many different military units here, Canadians included.

I suggest before any of you make comments against America you should come here first; then you will have the right to open your mouths.

As far as alienating friends? Are you kidding? What "friends" in a political sense does America have? I have been here a while so I'll give you the truth!

NONE! NOT ONE, WHATSOEVER!!

Everyone fighting here is fighting on our dime. We pay for everything, maybe we should and maybe we shouldn't. Canada's defense has been linked to America's since there has been an American military, certainly since WW1.

Every other country here is using America to get new weapons and new equipment while our stupid government uses them for pr. Some idiots in our government actually believe it is necessary to look like we are a coalition over here, and for what? To make it look like we are not going it alone? WE ARE GOING IT ALONE!!

I am not running down soldiers who have fought and died here. As I said, I have served with most of them and they are all the same; they are soldiers who do what they are ordered to do. They are the most honored of the people to have ever walked this earth.

I AM, however, a little put off by the losing friends comment. If we had "friends" here, this would be a very different place.....
