I have a v6 car and Im swaping a v8 I have the 6 banger out and the last thing I have to do is pull the frame mounts out I got a wrench in through the front hole and I got the front one out. The back and bottom are to far in for the wrench.

Does anyone have a way to get in there.

Its a 1978 Malibu wagon.

Thanks Dane

You have to get to them from underneath.

Use a socket and extension and go in from the holes surrounding the lower A-arm mounts.

It just takes patience. Just hold it from underneath with the socket, and loosen it from the top with a wrench.
If you try and spin the bolt from the bottom, it will just spin off the head of the bolt, and lead to long strings of profanity...

its best to have two people. Be paitent too

Thats what I figured but I wanted to double check with other first. GM is so nice to us some times 😀 .So I assume I do the same with the new mount?
