Hey guys, I need to get to work on some of these rust and I can't seem to find out how to remove the outside trim pieces on the door/quarter panel. It's probably something real easy. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about.

While I'm at it, how do I remove the door panel? I've got manual windows, I need to replace a door handle and I can't figure out how to remove the panel.

I just don't want to risk breaking anything unless I'm sure and my shop manual hasn't arrived yet, thanks in advance.

dont know how they attached those peices in 78 but on my 85' regal what i did was use a hair dryer to heat up the glue under the peice and then take some 6lb test fishing line and slowing moved behind it in a "saw like" motion came off great.

oo and as for the door panels, remove all the screws you see, there should be a few on the arm rest and what not then slowly pop it off, i think it has those "tree" style pin things just be careful.. you can get a tool to pop them if you get nervous, i just used a flat head screw driver and went slow

Hah so apparently it was held on by three push pin type of things, all which broke off while trying to seesaw the piece off. So now after I deal with the rust I have to find a way to plug up the holes.
