?? how to set my timing ??

I have a 1980 Malibu with a 305/TH350 with quadrajet, air, and power steering. It's all original (got if from an old lady for cheap ), and I went to check the timing and couldn't find a timing tab anywhere. Is it hidden or did they not put them on these cars (I can't see it being that)?

I have a 1986 Regal and was wondering the same thing. I'm pretty sure they have the same basic HEI distributor system.

look at the very top of the balancer. Not sure what year they switched, but the early small blocks had them off to the right and the later small blocks up top of the balancer.
