i need a simple part (distributor related)

i need the plastic buttons that go under the weights in the distributor for an HEI. i managed to destroy one and i need another pair of them. also i need a c clip that holds the center piece between the weights too.

how hard is it to get these? i imagine the c clip isnt hard at all to get. what about the buttons, can i get just those? i dont want to pay 11 bucks for some weights just to get those two buttons.

i'd rather buy the MSD weight set with the buttons first. i dont think it's worth all that work for some nylon buttons. i do need that clip though and im sure that's not hard to get.

i'll see what i can find online for a while. i dont need them right this minute so i have some time to find some IF i can find some.

I got a spare shaft from a HEI,I would be afraid to try and remove the plastic pads they look like they might break.
The thing is kinda heavy so postage would be close to the cost of the weight kit. Let know If you want it just pay the postage. It has weights,springs and the clips.

If the distributor is out of the car, take it to AZ. They have black boxes in the back with the clips you need in them. If its still in the car, try using a bolt that mimics the stud size for measure. As for the spacers, you only need them for the after market kits, but I use the stock weights with the aftermarket springs, as suggested by the makers of the kit. Just my opinion....

the clips are 1/8" e clips and are quite easy to get. the damn buttons not so much. guess i'll get an MSD weight set and use the buttons that come with it. that'll teach me a lesson, stop using the hammer for everything.
