FIrst...the car is dirty as hell. It's getting ready to rain here, and didn't have time to wash it!
Second.......I figure, the brand new wheels and tires were just sitting on my Salon till it's finished. So I thought I would switch out for awhile......I like it. I do still need to alter the stance (rear is sagging) but I have to wait to afford the spring swap. I like it, even though I figure many won't. And that's fine....I didn't do it for anybody but me, but I wanted to share the pics.
The thing holds the road like it's on rails now, compared to the originals. These are 225/50/15 Kumho Ecstas on 15x8 Cragar Soft 8s.

That's kind of funny because I have a 79 Cruiser and it doesn't have hubcaps. It looks pretty much the same as yours but not on purpose. LOL.

Those soft 8's are becoming really popular and summit sells them cheap I saw some 17's for 67 bucks a wheel

Yeah I wish I had bought the 17s............I bought these last year and they have just been sitting, mounted to my Salon in the driveway, till I get her on the road again. I figure why just let them sit there.

I have those rims on my cutlass and i love them... Yea sure they may weight a little more than other wheels... But the price and look make up for it!

I got 4 15x8's from summit for like $43 a peice plus shipping and handling.

Thanks.

I bought the rims for about $45 a piece last year @ Summit, and got the tires from Treaddepot.com for about $60 a piece I think. I bought each by the pair, as I could afford them. Hard to do with the 3 kids, I tell ya! Family comes first and they don't go without.

I like it, just wish i was able to get the front end down, to match the rear. Although it will be easier to raise the rear.

Mama doesn't like the rims on the wagon, she really liked the rallyes. I did too. But I wanted to see what they looked like. She understands...as long as I am happy with it she is too.

What a woman...........loves GBodies too. The boys are my soon to be stepsons, and all love it. The youngest (4) called it our Hot Rod, first time he saw it.........
