I had the chance while at the track to put wagon on the scale.
It tipped the scale at 3645 lbs with me in it.
Car is complete with interior and 6 point cage.
If i take the cage and my f*t*ss off total car would only be 3145lbs

Now the hard part is to deside if i should gut the interior completely. Or keep it intact and just remove panels and trim some metal. Its hard for me to deside seeing how this car has been a street car for yrs now. But seeing how car is going 11.18 and will be in the 10's i think its crossed over to barely streetable.
What do u all think.

I vote for leaving the interior intact.

I second that. I'd say if it's to be used strictly for track use, then gut it. If it's going to be street and strip, keep the interior intact.

i think the cars look so ugly when there gutted but if you want the lowest time possible do what you gotta do lol

Re: I put the Olds Wagon on the scale. Now for the hard part

As of right now i want to keep interior in one piece. I like people's reaction when i say it has full interior.

Re: I put the Olds Wagon on the scale. Now for the hard part

id keep the interior, hell even with your cage and everything your car is still lighter than my stock 86 2 door. I weighed in around 3767 (me in the car + 1/2 tank of gas, nothing removed from the trunk)

id say just keep it

Buy a set of whole saws remove interior and go at it . I did that on a 76 Impala I raced. All inner panels /doors and the like . Never noticed any issues. But wieght is weight
