I reunited someone special in my life,a prisoner I had a talk with.I admit my life in my teen years wasn't perfect making the wrong choices in life.Admit I did smoke marijuana starting at age 13,drinking at age 14 and hung around the bad kids I thought were good friends.Unprotected sex with boys at age 15.My parents were fed up with it and did punish me.Finally at age 16,found out I was pregnant with my daughter and this started changing my life around. My parents got involved and put me in a program for troubled teens to see what prison was like.I thought it was a joke and was not.I had female inmates in my face telling me I needed to change my life around. Also in a cell and it was bad.It made me realize they were right. It was one inmate and her name was Leann.Looked at me and said she was like me saying I was one beautiful young lady needing to change not to be like her.Told her I was smart doing good in school.Said I needed to keep that up and figured out I was pregnant too.Said that child I was carrying deserves a life and was right too. When I got home,my parents were amazed with the changes deciding to ditch those no good friends quiting smoking Marijauna and drinking including the unprotected sex and were glad I decided to write Leann a thank you letter. It was tonight we reunited and she was still proud of me.She even met my now 24 year old daughter I was pregnant with.Leann asked me what made me change, told her it was telling her story of my life to me knowing I didn't want to end up like her.I even told her she gave me the wake up call. She was serving time for selling drugs at the time.My parents want to meet her sometime and will happen this weekend

Good thing is my daughter didn't end up like me,taught her to make the right choices.Has been faced to get in fights, she said no and walked away a few times

Love hearing success stories, good for you. It took me till 25 to get my life straightened out. A divorce was my wake up.

I look up to her now,she still has that thank you letter from me.Said it made her tear up a little bit when she first read it.I still remember it,7 other girls and I.One failed it big time.Found out the rest are doing good and changed their ways too
