So as some of you know Im building a 84 Hurst and 83 Regal pretty much simultaneously. So I was gonna put the 403 into the Buick but that just wouldnt be right. So last week I stumble across a Buick 350 2bbl and th350. I got them home and decided to open the motor up just to see what I was working with and what do I find???? Texas Tea, GOLD son.

It has been rebuilt cant have more than a few thousand miles on it. It has low compression sealed power .030 pistons. I'm hoping the cr is somewhere around 8.5:1. The trans has also been rebuilt with a higher 2000 stall converter. I plan on getting the TA Perfomance intake and using a 750 carb as most recommend on v8buick.
It turns over super easy, should be a very dependable and reliable engine. 4bbl intake and carb should make it a bit happier. I saw a g force 350 crossmember for sale locally for pretty cheap so I'm gonna try and pick that up asap.
Carbon build up on the pistons but the cam doesn't show any wear marks at all. There is some carbon in the heads as well but it should all clean up well. Cant wait for the new gaskets and intake to get here(when I buy them lol $500 later). OH THE BEST PART ABOUT IT ALL IS I SCORED THE MOTOR & TRANS FOR A WHOPPING $375. I dont see me changing the rear gears any time soon so I will have to deal with the 2.29 gears for now maybe 3.08 with a posi next spring for the old 7.5".
