Wellston, OK
and Craigslist killed Auto Trader, and FB Marketplace killed Craigslist, what's killing FB?

Dunno about other areas, but here, there has been a noticeable decline in postings of "special interest" cars for sale. A quick look in the vehicles category results in literally hundreds of dealer ads for late model boring stuff. I suppose they'll find a way to chase the dollars from the dealers in due time.

Where are people listing stuff we like these days?

The supply is just drying due to the passage of time.

I've noticed a lack of special interest cars also, but I attribute it to people who have projects thinking they have time now that stuff is cancelled so they are keeping them thinking they have time to get to them.

If you can't go to a baseball game might as well work on the project car!

Project burnout or overwelming hasn't hit yet.

Dealers are catching on to FB. For a while you've been able to pay to have your ads shoved up people's noses so they seem like they're taking over.

I am not on Fakebook so I can't comment on that. I sold three transmissions, a TA spoiler set, a small boat, a Firebird sub-frame, and a batch of life jackets in a storage case on Craigslist this year. There seems to be less stuff I need but I agree that the supply is getting thin. But as always, you need to stay on top of it to score what you need. I was looking two years for a pair of stock Pontiac V-8 exhaust manifolds and finally a nice set popped up. The guy even shipped them at a reasonable cost. Without swap meets going on I think Craigslist will grow.

I used to use craigslist a alot more it was kind of the go to when i wanted to find something especially a Gbody project. However i have noticed less and less on there and the last three purchases ive made have been on marketplace and thats the only thing i use that crap tackular Facebook for. Other than that i absolutely hate it although social media is getting harder and harder to avoid. I honestly just dont have time for the drama

I agree, but there has been a marked reduction in older stuff, cars OR parts being posted just in the last 6 months locally.

Maybe everybody that's going to sell already has?.
