Ignition buzzer wont stop. Help

Where is the ignition buzzer located at and is there a way to disconnect it. Its driving me nuts,

I'm laughing because i delt with the same problem, for a good month straight i just drown the sound out with my sound system. I never found the buzzer, replaced the steering columb because mine got molested.

I think this is part of the "multi-function chime module" which is under the dash above the parking brake release. It's a blue box with two tabs on each side snapping it in (it's hard to get to) and should just pull/wiggle out. The problem is probably the switch in the column behind where the key inserts, there's a plunger type actuator back there.

I can pull the cigarette lighter fuse in my car and the buzzer won't sound. You could do that until you fix it.

i find the buzzer to be quite helpful to me when it comes to lights and stuff
