Hi,

I have problems getting my Oldsmobile Cutlass started.
It is equipped with an olds 350 cui.
Bought the car as a project some years ago and naturally some parts in the engine compartment were missing.
I had to buy an ignition coil for example..
The problem is that I don't get any spark when I try to fire it up.
It might be that I have connected the ignition coil wrong.
How should it be connected? I have the "+" connected to the current. The "output" is connected to the distributor.
But what about the "-"? Where should it be connected?
There is also a loose cable coming from under the distributor, where should that one be connected?
Maybe there are still some parts missing...?

What distributor, Hei or points?
