Hi, I'm trying to replace the broken ignition lock cylinder on my 78 Grand Prix SJ. I have done this before on a 1980 Firebird and I assumed they would be the same but when I took everything apart, I found a hole where I thought there would be a screw, like on the Firebird, Anyway I was wondering if anyone has done this before as to give me some insight on how to remove it?

Usually if there's no screw then there is a slot you stick a tiny screwdriver or knife into to release it. It may have casting flash hiding it if you're the first to pop it. Leme check the manual....yup.

Okay thanks, I'll try that next.
