i see all of you guys with these cool headunits in your car?
What style headunit adapter do you use to make it look so clean, i was gonna mount mine where the ash tray is but that when south when i bought my floor shifter. The factory radio works but the speakers are way past due. I wanna keep the originality of the radio but would like an aftermarket one somewhere to run a small sub, and door speakers with an amp?
Suggestions please

If you wanna keep the originality of the stock stereo, there is this one company, idr the name of them but should be easy to Google. They make aftermarket stereos that look factory. If they don't make one for your car, they have a unit that can b mounted in a hidden location with some high tech looking remote/control type thing.. I hear they are good, other than That....just buy a deck, and a pack of mounting plates. They come with a whole bunch of different ones, so one is bound to work...lol.

hmm ill have a look around. i was thinking of mounting one under the glove box and have a remote to be able to play it from the driver side.

Yeah, try to find that company. I've heard theirs are really good. Easily hidden, and a nice control type thing which can be mounted closer to control it, but could still be hidden if you want.

theres a guy thhat takes stock radios and modifies them, adds an aux-in cable to the back and you can run that to your ipod or whatever. pretty cool imo.

I just cut my stock radio plate to the shape of the headunit and made a aluminum mount for the back. i like it, looks pretty clean i think.
