Ok well none of the lights for my guages are working and i am haveing a hard time believeing that they are all burnt out.... The fuse is fine, Ihave checked all of them, the only one i found that was blown was for the radio and i replaced it now that works fine. So whats everyones opinion on whats goin on with the lights???? What should i check into first????

Look at a wiring diagram and find the power for those lights. See if they are getting power. If they dont, I think it gets the power from the headlight switch. Check for power there. One question, do the rest of the lights that are supposed to come on with the parking lighs work? If not the switch might not be letting power get to the lights. If they are working, there probably is a problem in the wire that goes to the gauges. Try jumping power to it and see if that works. Also see if there is one ground for the guage lights, not all of the gauges. That could be bad also.

They are fed from the dimmer on the headlight switch. You should be able to hotwire it there and make them work. I think they also use a common ground so be sure to check that.
Good luck to ya

I am thinking they were usually near the fuse block on the left and/or on the right where the harness comes in. I'd check the power at the H/L switch first as it is easiest to locate.

awsome thanks for all the info i will get on it on my days off as well as re-tapping my thermostat housing bolt holes
