I have a question about painting interior panels. Currently my interior is the dark brown. I recently picked up a pair of bucket seats from a Elco that need recovering. Everywhere I have looked I have not seen any repo covers in brown.

I have thought about changing the interior color to maroon. I found through the El Camino store that they have the maroon interior spray. What are your thoughts on spraying the maroon over a dark brown? I know it will cause the color to darken but I dont think it will be too bad.

So, my Regal is not the only car with a dark brown interior, chocolate I guess. I was just looking for a dye/paint so I could do an A-pillar gauge pod...

I just redid mine.

Went from white to flat black. I will say. prep them and do a lot of light coats.

I ended up clear coating them a lot also. did like 6 coats of a flat clear coat to help protect it.
