I've read some other post(s) on this site but nothing came close to my situation. First off the car was a factory 40/60 because welded to the body in factory paint is the studs for the seats. And as I've mentioned b4 one of the previous owners put in grand national bucket seats(bad condition now). So the seat tracks fit fine. But here the questions are......

1.) will I need a different seat bun for the turbo seats..ok can't out up photos
2.) seat track trim has two inner plastics I thought I had the wrong tracks but searching the net I found the tracks are correct. So the the last guy put two sets of inner track covers. So the outer track plastic is stretched out on the front and the rear was put on side ways. again for some reason I can't put up the photos. :x I went to the yards and looked under all the 40/60 g-body bench cars and didn't find the proper plastics. Does anyone know where I can just get the outer seat track covers?
Thanks.

p.s. I didn't know there was a limit on photos. :x

My car had them and the parts cars I got nicer seats from had them too and I made the cleanest set of them I could by mixing and matching what I had. I'd check out some other gm bucket seat cars from the era and maybe even into the mid 90s. Im pretty sure my wife 95 grand am has similar plastic covers on the seat tracks.

Thanks. Would it also be the same for the seat belts as well? Thanks again.

They changed the seat belts somewhere around 81' or 82'. I put 83' Cutlass buckets in my car and had a set of bucket seat belt buckles from a Monte Carlo off of eBay, and the stock 79' seat belts didn't want to clip into the buckles. I modified the belt so it would slide in with a cutoff wheel slightly to finally get it to fit right. I think it's got an ear on the earlier ones that needs to be smaller and we cut it down and they worked out great.
