When I bought my '86 Monte Carlo SS with the T roof, the interior was incomplete and I received most of the interior trim pieces in a box. What are the lettered pieces for? I think the smaller black pieces (F to K) are for the seat mount covers? I also believe I am missing a dome light? I think the two plastic lamp lenses are for the rear sail panels?

Here are the rest of the pieces that should complete the interior. Not pictured are the left rear lower sail panel, right rear sail panels, trim pieces on right side of T roof.

And here are spare parts I got with the car:

A- Might be a crotch cooler for under the steering column- looks strange though. EDIT: May be a non-A/C manual vent control panel that takes place of the crotch cooler on A/C cars.
B- ECM cover for inside the kick panel passenger side
C- A-pillar cover
D/E- those look like rear speaker deck end pieces/covers
F-K - appear to be seat frame to floor covers although the F part looks weird. Monte only parts? Don't recognize them from an Olds
L- outside front seatbelt turnbuckle cover on B-pillar, about head level

And yes, those little lamps are for the sail panels because you have T-tops. There is no dome light for the T-top cars. Although I've actually seen a car years ago that someone added one to. Looked stupid, IMO, but wasn't my money or car. If I were going to want lamps up front, I'd get one of those inside rearview mirrors that had the little map lights on the bottom and wire that up instead. Would look more factory, although we know they never came with those, either.

Thanks, as for the crotch cooler I believe that is the item I circled below?

As for "C" being the A-Pillar, I am not sure about that as that piece that is pictured is metal. I have the A-pillars circled below:

Also do you know if the trim along the rear section of the roof where it meets the rear glass is made of metal? Is this it?

A in the original picture is a crotch cooler panel but not from a Chevy. Chevy used the same panel for both AC and non AC ( heat only) cars.

C looks to be an exterior A pillar which would be why it's metal.

F are non AC (heat only) vent block off trims for the dash gauge bezel. It replaced the vent in the upper left of the dash bezel on non AC cars.
