Do you have an older CD player with a CD changer input that you do not use? Have an iPod or other MP3 player you wish to use with that deck? Here's a handy solution. For under $20 on Ebay, you can get a connector that interfaces with the CD changer input plug and converts it to an input for either a set of RCA's or an iPod connector. Just use the search term "iPod insert brand of CD player here". For example, "iPod Alpine". I have been using my iPod this way with an older JVC (2004) that was not designed to work that way, and it works fine. (However, it does allow you to scroll through options as to if the input is for a CD player, or generic Input like an RCA interface) I plan to try it on the 1999 Alpine I have for my Cutlass as soon as I get to that point. I hope this helps someone!
