Is there a spring style hood lift that will work for 85 GN??

Mine has the hydro shock type hood lifts but would much rather have the older spring style lifts. Is there anything that will work?

Are the holes in the hood and fenders for hinges? If not then not sure what you can do.

It obviously has hinges already just want to change them to the older spring style if they will fit

Ok then. Just by doing a simple search for Buick Regal pics in Google you can see that your hinges look the same as standard spring hinges. It looks like GM just left the spring hangers off. I can post up some spring hinge pics if you want.

The big thing is if your car has the threaded holes in the lower fenders.

i will probably just stick with what is there since i bet it is way lighter than the bigger spring hinges
