So I recently had my trans moved away from the flexplate and crank on my Olds and I was wondering if anyone could identify what type of crankshaft I have. As far as I know the engine from 1973. I did not change anything on the bottom end, it is how i got it. It does have the boss for the ball stud on the side of the block too.

Looks about right to me, based on this blueprint I found detailed how the crank needs to be drilled to accept the pilot bushing for the manual crank. Of course, it's a good idea to double check the measurements with some calipers or bore gauges or the like to be sure.

Yes it is., finding the pilot bushing is gonna be tough. I looked everywhere and eventually had to have one turned down to fit my 73 350.

You'll have to measure it, but it will work. I hope this helps.

I'm thinking of a manual trans swap in the future to an OD or 4 speed with 3.23s. The reverse manual 200-4R is only so much fun. Rowing gears is killer. I'd drive it daily.

Check RockAuto- looks like it takes the standard GM 7109 sealed bearing. They show the bronze bushing too, but I always use the bearing myself. Only 1 left- better hurry! 1973 OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS 5.7L 350cid V8 : Transmission-Manual : Clutch Pilot Bearing Price $23.79
SKF Part # BR7109 {Click Info Link for Alternate/OEM Part Numbers} Ball Bearing (Only 1 Remaining)
