I have this old DuoTherm downdraft oil furnace in my garage. When it works, it is the best thing on earth. However, it is also very finicky and temperamental. This red button and yellow LED have become the bane of my existence.

For the life of me I can't get it to clear. Literally, anyone else never has a problem. Push the button and it clears. It is quite maddening, honestly. I've tried "thousand" counts to varying degrees with no success. I think it just hates me.

"Push the Button, Max!"

Amazon, $45. Instruction sheet below. Hope to hear a positive report. Better than burning down the shop and your Pig.

I had a water heater in the attic that you had to push/hold a tiny button with about 40lbs of force as one of the steps to get it to relight the pilot. My button finger wouldn't work for days. I was never so glad to spend $1000 replacing something in my entire life.
I must have had that same water heater heater... My water is about 100 yards from the propane tank, and if you ever happen to run out of propane you are forced to purge out all 100 yards worth of air from that line before it will light...with that damned button.
