Hello! Ok so I was roaming the local recycling yard today and found a 73 Delta 88 with matching numbers to the 350 block, is this worth hassling the owner to dig out for a donor motor and trans for my 79 cutlass supreme? Thanks.

The blocks were all good until 1976. But that doesn't mean the 77 and up blocks are junk. The 73 number 8 heads are so-so. If you can port heads yourself they're good. But If you can't it'll be cheaper to find a set of 5,6 or 7 heads that flow just as well without porting.
